We all know how important it is to eat local and shop local, and now is your chance to join the movement and GIVE local. Arts Education Connection San Diego is excited to participate in the 2nd annual San Diego Gives, a special day designated to shine a light on the tremendous work of nonprofit organizations throughout San Diego County. 100% of the money raised will stay in San Diego to support our community.
On Thursday, September 8, 2022 we will invite the community to join our efforts in raising money to support our mission of providing high-quality arts education programs that inspire students of all ages to reach their full potential through the arts.
Here’s how it works. San Diego Gives is a 24-hour online fundraiser. You can donate easily by visiting our page at Arts Education Connection San Diego | San Diego Gives. You’ll learn more about our programs, whom we serve, and where we work.
Executive Director Adrienne Valencia states, “We believe that all students benefit from a robust arts education but some schools don’t have enough funding to bring in our professional teaching artists. Through the efforts of San Diego Gives, we have a goal of raising $5000, so that we can continue to transform learning by bringing the joy and richness of the arts to schools and community venues.”
